Kitten Love comes a series that I have been holding back. Holding back because the pain was too great to post them. I had hoped to post them all on Valentine's day in a journal, filled with Kitten Love and I may yet do just that. But I am sure that by the time I am done posting the lot, I will be tired and Valentine's Day will be over.

The two the will be featured in this series are not sister cats in the real sense of the word. Meaning, they did not come from the same litter. However, they lived together, played together and loved one another in a huge way.

The long-haired cat is my Christmas Tree Climber, my Roxanne or Rox for short. The short-haired was Abigail, or Abby for short. Abby was one of the two newer kittens to come into my home and if you have followed my journals over the past few weeks, you will be aware of the trials she faced with a kitten illness that she spread to the other members of our household, and she also was found to have a heart defect. She was put to sleep a few days ago.

After she was put to sleep, I found it hard to look at these shots or work them up. I am ok now, and ready to share these beautiful, fun shots. I hope you all enjoy them also.
